Since i go my iPhone I wished I could play my oldschool dos games on it. The games that kept you up way passed your bed time. Games like Starcontrol 1/2, Zork, Cosmo and others.
Well, with some looking/playing around i managed to get Kings Quest 1 working on my iPhone (I know it’s awesome)
Here are some screenshots:

I would like to thank http://www.scummvm.org/ for all their hard work in getting ScummVM ported to the iPhone. For anyone who wants to try this tutorial on another game, here is a list of compatible games.
Here’s how i did it:
Firstly, you need an jailbroken iPhone. If your iPhone isnt jailbroken you can go to http://www.geekology.co.za for tips on how to do it.
Secondly, open up Cydia. Go to the Manage tap and select the Sources option. This will list all the different sources available where you can get jailbroken apps from. Scroll down and see if you have urbanfanatics.com added as a Source, if it isn’t there you need to add it. Select edit and then add to add a source. Fill in http://urbanfanatics.com/cydia/ when prompted. It will ask you to download the Source and update Cydia. Restart Cydia and make sure you install all the upgrades when prompted.
Thirdly, When you’re back in Cydia go to the search tap and search scummVM and install it. This will create a ScummVM app on your iPhone
Download Kings Quest from abandonia.com.
When launching ScummVM it will look for dos games in /private/var/mobile directory on your iPhone. You need to ssh into your iPhone and create a games directory. I used Cyberduck for the mac to sftp in.
If you haven’t changed your sftp/ssh details on your iPhone, it should be the default.
Username: root
Password: alpine
Now after you have created the /private/var/mobile/games directory copy the extracted kings quest game into the games directory.
You are now ready to setup the game in ScummVM.
Go to ScummVM and select the add game option.

Select the directory where kings quest sits and Choose it. The directory will appear blank, but it will pick it up. When asked to select the games, always select dos/english. On the next screen just press ok.
Now the game should be listed in the ScummVM startup screen.

Just select the game and start playing.
Update:
I got Return to Zork working as well.
